Our Hope Commons facility, which features Mainfare, Rhody Market and the Corner Store, has won awards including the gold medal in the Loyal E. Horton Dining Awards from NACUFS ...four years in a row! These award recognizes the most successful ideas in menus, presentations, special events planning, and new dining concepts in a national competition among on-campus food services, as well as green building LEED certification. The Corner Store has received the "Best In Business" award for variety and product mix. Thank you to all of our staff for making this possible!!!

This semester, Dining Services is introducing Furmano’s low sodium beans. Beans are a great source of protein and soluble fiber. They are also low in fat, free of saturated and trans fats. Beans are found at the fusion station, in the salad bar, and in many recipes such as soups and main dishes.
Red Kidney beans, found in soups and chilis, are a good source of antioxidants and magnesium. Black beans, found at the salad bar and taco station, are good sources of folic acid, iron, potassium, and magnesium.
White beans, found in soups, are a good source of calcium. Garbanzo beans (chick peas), are found in soups, recipes, and the salad bar are a good source of iron and calcium.
