The University College and General Education
Committee considered the following matters at their meeting of May 1,
2003. They are now presented to the Faculty Senate for
confirmation.

A. English Communication:
Writing Core Area (ECw)
The UCGE Committee recommends that
the Faculty Senate approve the following courses for the ECw) area of
the revised General Education Program (2001), including the
assignment of the Diversity designation:
