your Student to Class!
Step into the shoes of your student for a day. Ask your student to check with individual instructors to make sure there is an open seat for you in the classroom. Students are welcome to introduce parents to faculty!
9am - 4pm URI Bookstore Hours
Check out the newest selection of URI pride t-shirts, hooded fleece, sweat pants and jerseys in an assortment of colors, styles and sizes. If clothing isn't what you're looking for, you can also check out the Rhody stuffed animals for the kids or look through the variety of accessories including customized URI pens, glass mugs, flags, pennants or car decals. The bookstore also sells gift cards which make for a perfect gift for your student!
10am - 11:50am Public Skate
Boss Ice Arena
$6 to skate, $5 skate rentals
Students w/ URI ID and Family Members $3 to skate
(URI Student must accompany family)
The Boss Ice Arena will be hosting an open ice afternoon for family weekend. The arena offers a friendly atmosphere where your family can enjoy ice skating while listening to fun music and socializing with other families and members of the community.

Relax and enjoy a coffee and a snack with your student.

The Multicultural Center's staff and students welcome the opportunity to show you the new facility to explain various unique Multicultural programs and exhibit past and future events they have to offer.

Dine at the fabulous Hope Commons with your student. Sample the pasta selections, hot or cold deli sandwiches, burgers, a gourmet salad bar, omelets cooked-to-order at Mainfare among other items located in Hope Commons. Cash or student guest passes, if available, may be used for entry
