American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists
The American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) is the professional association for the field of marriage and family therapy. We represent the professional interests of more than 23,000 marriage and family therapists throughout the United States, Canada and abroad.


American College Personnel Association
Serving all levels of higher education student affairs professionals through educational and developmental programs, publications and networking opportunities in order to enable these educators to excel in their positions, to achieve career growth, and to contribute to the profession.


American Council on Consumer Interests
The mission of American Council on Consumer Interests is to provide a forum for the exchange of information about consumer issues and family economics to improve the well-being of individuals, households and families.

ACCI's goals are:

To advance knowledge by identifying issues, stimulating research, promoting education, and informing policy.

To provide for the professional development of the membership by creating, maintaining and stimulating interactive communication among advocates, business representatives, educators, policy makers, and researchers through publications, educational programs, and networking opportunities.


American Educational Research Association
The American Educational Research Association is concerned with improving the educational process by encouraging scholarly inquiry related to education and by promoting the dissemination and practical application of research results. 


American Psychological Association
Based in Washington, DC, the American Psychological Association (APA) is the largest scientific and professional organization representing psychology in the United States. With more than 159,000 members, APA is also the largest association of psychologists worldwide.


American Society on Aging
Text: The American Society on Aging (ASA) offers comprehensive educational programming, publications, information and training resources on aging-related issues.


Association for Financial Counseling and Planning Education 
The Association for Financial Counseling and Planning Education is a non-profit, professional organization comprised of researchers, academics, and financial counselors, educators and planners. The purpose of the organization, as stated in its Bylaws are to 1) promote improved personal financial management education, 2) to promote the education, training, and certification of financial counseling and planning professionals, 3) to promote research in personal financial management, and 4) to disseminate research findings and program methodologies related to financial counseling and planning education. Our common goal is to improve the quality of life of our end users - families and individuals who, regardless of their incomes, are struggling to get ahead.


Children's Defense Fund
The mission of the Children's Defense Fund is to Leave No Child Behind® and to ensure every child a Healthy Start, a Head Start, a Fair Start, a Safe Start, and a Moral Start in life and successful passage to adulthood with the help of caring families and communities.


Gerontological Society of America
Provides researchers, educators, practitioners, and policy makers with expanded opportunities to understand, advance, integrate and use basic and applied research on aging to improve the quality of life during processes of aging.


National Council on Family Relations
NCFR provides a forum for family researchers, educators, and practitioners to share in the development and dissemination of knowledge about families and family relationships, establishes professional standards, and works to promote family well-being.


Society for Research in Adolescence
Society for Research on Adolescence (SRA) is a dynamic, multidisciplinary, international organization dedicated to understanding adolescence through research and dissemination.


Society for Research in Child Development
The Society is a multidisciplinary, not-for-profit, professional association with an membership of approximately 5,300 researchers, practitioners, and human development professionals from over 50 countries. The purposes of the Society are to promote multidisciplinary research in the field of human development, to foster the exchange of information among scientists and other professionals of various disciplines, and to encourage applications of research findings. Our goals are pursued through a variety of programs with the cooperation and service of our governing council, standing committees, and members.
