Nancy Stricklin currently works as the Assistant to the Provost for Global Strategies and Academic Partnerships.  In this role she works collaboratively with the Offices of International Education, International Students and Scholars, International Admissions, student services and the academic colleges to help advance the internationalization goals of the university. She serves as the primary liaison between the A.C.E. English Language Institute and URI, provides assistance and support with efforts to recruit and retain international students, coordinates a global summer program offering on campus and assists with the review and development of international institutional partnerships aligned with the University's international strategic plan.


Prior to this position, Nancy worked in International Admissions at URI. She established annual recruitment and marketing plans and has represented URI internationally in North and Southeast Asia, North Africa, the Middle East and South America.  In addition to coordinating and conducting the evaluation and review of all international student documentation and application materials, she collaborated with the Provost's Office and the Office of International Students and Scholars to assist in developing a partnership with the A.C.E. English Language Institute at URI.
