The Office of International Students and Scholars provides required immigration documents and problem-solving assistance to all undergraduate and graduate students, scholars, and their dependents. This department responds to questions from individuals and from academic departments concerning US government and foreign agencies, embassies, consulates and sponsors. The Office of International Students and Scholars serves as a meeting place for the International Coffee Hour on Fridays and Tertulia every Wednesday. The Coffee Hour is intended to bring Americans and International students together to learn about each other and the various cultures represented at URI. Tertulia is the Spanish conversation meeting where students meet to practice Spanish language. For more information about ISS events and programs, please go to calendar of events. Please join the ISS listserv (mailing list) for important updates related to international students and scholars. Immigration Announcement Congratulations to all of us! You completed one more semester, made progress towards completing your degree, changed to H-1B, graduated or began a new program.
Happy Holidays! |
