One-time only serials (particularly but not limited to directories) may be ordered for Reference by any subject selector. The selector should also notify the ZZR Selector who will provide any follow-up necessary. A title cannot be ordered more than once every four years. This policy on one-time-only serial orders applies only to materials of a Reference nature, housed in the Reference collection. It is an exception to the general rule that monographic funds are not intended for the purchase of serials, and that material of a serial nature of importance to the collection should be on subscription and subject to the drop-add policy.
