The study of peace and nonviolence is interdisciplinary and
its literature is found within many subject headings organized by the Library of Congress.
This is a guide to selected sources of information related to Peace and Nonviolence
Studies available in the URI libraries, including, but not limited to, the subject
headings PEACE, NONVIOLENCE, PACIFISM, PEACE TREATIES and PASSIVE RESISTANCE. This guide
is intended as a starting point in resources where works on peace and nonviolence
intersect with topics such as Women's Studies, Ethics, Education, Philosophy, Political
Science, Anthropology, Economics, etc.
