All day, every day, we are surrounded by the products of science. Maybe you didn’t go to the Moon, but you grew up drinking Tang. Legos and cars don't grow on trees. Buildings stay up because of careful application of scientific and engineering principles, not luck. The current library lobby display examines some of the common areas where engineering, chemistry, geology, physics, materials science, and other disciplines have a huge, although largely invisible, impact on our daily lives.
