Welcome to the URI Providence Campus
Master of Business Administration Program!

Since its inception in 1961, the Master of Business Administration programs at the University of Rhode Island match the needs of participants from all degrees and career paths! We are proud to introduce our redesigned One Year MBA in Strategic Innovation and our Evening MBA program - both located in downtown Providence!

Evening MBA: The part time evening program is designed to emphasize conceptual, analytical, technical, and interpersonal skills. Material for this non-thesis program is presented through lectures, discussions, case studies, and both individual and group projects. The MBA program does not require previous instruction in business administration nor pre-requisite coursework.

The curriculum consists of a maximum of 15 courses; some courses may be waived based on previous relevant coursework. Each course meets one night per week, Monday-Thursday evenings, with the ability to take some Saturday and online course options as well. This program is flexible to meet your individual needs, allowing you to take as many courses per semester as you desire. We also offer the unique feature for prospective students to take some MBA courses before they apply to the program!

One Year MBA in Strategic Innovation: This one year full time program offers a uniquely integrative curriculum featuring broad and deep practical experiences with leading national and global companies taught within a framework of solving business problems. Twenty-five students start and end this program together as a cohort. Classes meet Monday-Friday from 9am-4pm during the fall and spring semesters, and will finish the program with summer internship or evening electives.

For more information about these programs, contact Lisa Lancellotta, Coordinator, MBA or visit the MBA website at http://www.cba.uri.edu/mba/

The URI College of Business Administration also offers a Master of Science in Accounting and Ph.D. program at our Kingston campus.
