Welcome to the URI Providence Campus
Master of Business Administration Program!
The University of Rhode Island's Providence Evening MBA Program prepares
you for careers as effective leaders and managers. This part time
evening program is designed to emphasize conceptual, analytical, technical,
and interpersonal skills. Material for this non-thesis program is
presented through lectures, discussions, case studies, and both individual
and group projects. The MBA program does not require previous instruction
in business administration nor pre-requisite coursework.
The curriculum consists of a maximum of 15 courses;
some courses may be waived based on previous relevant coursework.
Each course meets one night per week, Monday-Thursday evenings, with
the ability to take some Saturday and online course options as well.
This program is flexible to meet your individual needs, allowing you
to take as many courses per semester as you desire. We also offer
the unique feature for prospective students to take some MBA courses
before they apply to the program!
