The URI Providence Biotechnology Center

The URI Providence Biotechnology Center is a collaboration of the College of Continuing Education (Graduate Professional Center) and the College of the Environment and Life Sciences (Department of Cell and Molecular Biology).  It is the hub for several biotechnology programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels, as well as the Institute for Immunology and Informatics, and K-12 and industry training. The Center has 8 faculty offices, 4 labs, a dedicated lecture hall, a conference room, and administrative support areas. The Center has received more than $2.0 million in support from federal and state government agencies, as well as the life sciences industry.
