Maureen Moakley Web Chat
Author, political commentator, and URI Professor of Political Science Maureen Moakley joined us for a lively post-election Web chat on November 18 in which she responded to questions about the historic election of 2008. Take a look at her thoughts on what to expect in the first 100 days of the Obama administration, the impact of the election on foreign affairs, and whether the days ahead might bring a decrease in extreme partisanship.
Maureen Moakley is a frequent commentator on politics for Rhode Island’s public radio station, WRNI. Listen to January 2, 2009 Political Roundtable.
Web chats are a feature of the URI Division of University Advancement electronic communications program.

Moakley is too far left.
How about someone with balance and clarity.
She’s soooo far off in her views it’s PAINFULL to read/hear.
My taxes shouldn’t go to socialists to educate our kids. Her webchat hogwash is silly.
Balance kids. Balance and fairness. How about it?
