WOWW - We’re Offering Women Wisdom has been working hard to support freshmen women on campus for three years. The mission of this organization is to establish a tangible community where upper-class mentors provide a constant, non-judging community for incoming first year students. In turn, these first year students become the mentors for the next class of incoming freshmen. Members of WOWW strive to educate women about the dangers of sexual assault, domestic violence, and stalking. In addition, they also provide information about effective time and stress management techniques. Through their commitment to supporting freshmen students, involvement on campus, and the successful management of their organization, We’re Offering Women Wisdom continues to help freshmen and upper-class students build lasting friendships, develop leadership skills, and learn about issues effecting women today.
