As a visual storyteller, Jason Jaacks uses the power of the image to inspire, educate, and celebrate. But in a rapidly changing world, the science and environmental stories he tells have taken on a new challenge: to motivate action Jason Jaacks is an award-winning filmmaker and photographer whose work has been featured on National Geographic, PBS Digital Studios, The New York Times, and The Atlantic. His films include Border Nation, In Search of Tztoz, and Silent River. Jason is a National Geographic Explorer and is an Assistant Professor of Journalism at the University of Rhode Island.
