Living and Learning Community

About the LLC

The College of Arts and Sciences has its own Living and Learning Community in Weldin Hall. First year students in this residence hall are majoring in an area of study within the College of Arts and Sciences. These majors include but are not limited to Communication Studies, Journalism, Public Relations, Film, and Writing/Rhetoric.

The LLC acts as a place for students to learn from each other outside of the classroom. The Resident Academic Mentor (RAM) acts as a facilitator and coordinator of many in-house programs such as study groups/sessions. The goal of the LLC is to promote an academic environment within the place of residence.
