Plant Pro

Tune in to the Plant Pro for Home Gardening & Environmental Tips!

Click here for our weekly gardening tips!

URI's very own Marion Gold is the host of NBC 10's Plant Pro.  Watch her every Saturday at 9:00am on The Weekend Sunrise show and every Wednesday at noon.

Filmed in URI's Botanical Gardens and other garden spots throughout the state, the Plant Pro offers environmentally-friendly tips for your landscape garden projects. From flowers and vegetables to ecological lawn care and pruning, the Plant Pro provides ideas for every location and season. The program taps the latest university research to help viewers develop low maintenance, beautiful gardens with minimal inputs of pesticides.

We invite viewers to come check out the Botanical Gardens at the URI Kingston Campus or visit our office at the Roger Williams Park Botanical Center in Providence.

Visit the center's web pages for more environmentally sound gardening tips and to learn about our related programs.
