HELIN Requests

One other important feature of HELIN is the ability to do a HELIN Request. If a book you would like is available at another library (you can tell this by looking at the Location column of the record), you can request that this book be sent to the URI library. Click the button that says Request:

Provide the information requested and submit the form:

After submitting the form, you will receive an e-mail when your book has arrived and you can check it out it from the circulation desk of the selected library.
