Narragansett, R.I. -- April 24, 2002 -- Whether you’re a novice or experienced bird watcher, you won’t want to miss out on this series of early morning walks at URI’s Narragansett Bay Campus.

Led by Dr. Robert Kenney, a URI Graduate School of Oceanography marine scientist and expert birder, the walks will beheld on four Wednesdays next month on May 1, 8, 15, and 29, at 7 a.m.

Participants will meet at the Coastal Institute Building on the URI Bay Campus in Narragansett and enjoy scoping the abundance of songbirds that arrive with the advent of spring, including warblers, catbirds, and orioles. The fee for each walk is $2 for Friends of Oceanography members and $5 for non-members. Preregistration is NOT required.
