MAIN CONCOURSE LEVEL

o Averages 20 feet in width and circulates fully around the arena floor. One of the few arenas in North America with carpeted concourse. Houses 10 restroom facilities, four large concession stands

EVENT LEVEL

o Consists of 17,800 square feet of usable area with the retractable seating pulled back. A portable wood floor surface will be installed for basketball. The basic 60-foot by 112-foot floor can be expanded to 96 feet by 160 feet to allow for expanded practice area. Contains locker rooms for the URI football team, the men’s and women’s basketball teams, coaches’ locker rooms and two officials’ locker rooms. Four auxiliary locker rooms to be used by visiting teams or for tournament play. The URI varsity facilities feature pro-style wood lockers.

SUITE LEVEL

o Houses six private luxury suites, the president’s suite and the athletic director’s suite. Each of the suites overlooks the arena floor and the football field. President’s suite has 44 permanently mounted padded stadium seats on two rows, 15 barstool type seating areas behind on a raised platform and plenty of space for a number of activities

ACCESSIBILITY FEATURES

o The Center is fully compliant with Americans with Disabilities Act. Three over-sized elevators serve all occupied floors and accommodate large numbers of people and provide room for those in wheelchairs. All locker rooms are barrier free and all restrooms are 100 percent compliant with the ADA. Center provides TDD phones and an assisted listening system. A total of 85 wheelchair spaces and 85 companion chairs are distributed throughout the seating bowl. In addition 75 ambulatory chairs are placed throughout the building, which have fold-up arm rest feature.
