URI-RIC to host Feinstein Community Service Lecture Thursday,
Nov. 12
KINGSTON, R.I.-November 6, 1998 -- The University of Rhode Island-Rhode
Island College Joint Ph.D. in Education program will present the Feinstein
Community Service lecture, Thursday, Nov. 12 at 4:30 p.m.
Vivian Johnson, professor at Boston University's School of Education,
will lecture on the Kingston Campus at the University Club, 95 Upper College
Road.
She will discuss "Service learning and Community Service: For What
Purpose?"
A reception follows at 5:30 p.m. The program is free and open to the
public.
