PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- January 16, 2004 -- Don't wait until election day to realize that you've forgotten to register to vote! Take a walk downtown at lunch or after work to the University of Rhode Island's Feinstein Providence Campus on Wednesday or Thursday, Jan. 21–22 and become a registered voter in the State of Rhode Island.

From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 4 to 7 p.m. the Student Government Board at the University of Rhode Island's Providence Campus, the R.I. League of Women Voters, and the R.I. Latino Civic Fund are sponsoring a voter registration campaign. The registration will take place in the first-floor lobby of URI's Providence Campus at 80 Washington St. The forms necessary will be provided.
