Student life is about discovery. You get to know people from places you’ve never been. You discover there are lots of ways of looking at things. You learn more about yourself—what fascinates you, what’s important to you, how you can make a difference.

There are more than 120 student organizations at URI—from cycling and sailing to slam poetry and meditation. Get involved with the student newspaper or radio station. Develop your leadership skills. Try something new. On-campus jobs and off-campus internships can open doors you didn’t even know were there. And that’s just the beginning.

Expand your horizons, join a club, volunteer. You never know where it will lead.
