Philadanco Monday, Jan. 28, 8 p.m. Fine Arts Center. URI’s Great Performances Series starts the spring semester with Messages from the Heart by the Philadelphia Dance Compa-ny, aka Philadanco, an ensemble of multiethnic dancers known for their innovative choreography that fuses ballet, jazz, hip-hop, and West-African influences. Tickets are $20 for general audiences, $15 staff, $12 seniors, and $5 students. For tickets call 401-874-2627.
