URI Providence Campus Gallery to exhibit works by faculty,
staff, students and alumni artists during May


PROVIDENCE, R.I. — April 29, 2002 — URI Providence Campus Gallery will display a media exhibit of work by faculty, staff, students and alumni artists in May. The gallery is located on the 1st and 2nd floors of the URI Providence Campus, 80 Washington Street.

The exhibit features the work of Nora Lewis of Newport, the University photographer who has received high acclaim locally and around the country for her fine art photography.

In addition, the works by 20 other URI artists will be on display. Alumni artists include Sue Anderson, Mary Ellen Benoit, Fred Meli, Brian O’Malley and Sam Peck; faculty artists include Bob Dilworth, Chistine Lyons, Barbara Pagh and Dr. Stephen Wood; student artists include Phillip Bose, Tara L. Cavanaugh, Alison DiPetrillo, Stephanie Forschner, Jim Goulet, Vince Johnson, Jacki Johnson and Lori Reis; and staff artists include Jim Bradley, Cecilia Casey, Lynn Petronio, Barbara Plummer, Lisa Ricci, Mary Salerno and Sarina Rodrigues Wyant.

Exhibit hours are Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The gallery is closed on Sundays.
