University renews Public Safety policies on fire safety, updates policy on Administration of Sponsored Agreements and Gifts, and approves new policy on Relocation Allowances

Effective June 6, the University has renewed a suite of Public Safety policies relative to fire safety (Access Box Keys, Fire Exit Drills, Fire Protection System Impairment, Hot Work Permitting, and Residential Sprinkler Protection). In addition, the policy on Fire Watches was retired and returned to Public Safety to manage. These renewed policies can be found at the University’s Administrative Policies webpage.

Administration of Sponsored Agreements and Gifts
Also effective June 6, the University has updated the policy on the Administration of Sponsored Agreements and Gifts. This policy addresses the types, and separation, of funds that flow to the University from third-party sources. 

Relocation Allowances
Effective July 1, the University has placed in service a new policy on Relocation Allowances. This policy allows for the use of relocation allowances in the hiring of non-classified University employees, streamlining the process and creating an employment incentive for new employees.
