Division of Research and Economic Development update regarding upgrade to InfoEd Grants Management System

System will be inaccessible from Sept. 8 at 6 p.m. through Sept. 10 at 11 p.m. EST

The InfoEd Grants Management System will be inaccessible from Friday, Sept. 8, at 6 p.m. to Sunday, Sept. 10, at 11 p.m. This will impact proposal submissions during this downtime.

InfoEd will perform a pre-planned version upgrade to all modules in the InfoEd Grants Management System. This version upgrade includes enhancements and code fixes and will resolve outstanding issues as well.

All users who submit grants or manage grants through the InfoEd Grants Management System will be affected. In preparation for this upgrade to the production environment, we strongly encourage preparing, routing proposals, and planning your proposal submissions in the InfoEd system accordingly outside of this window. No proposals can be submitted while the production system is offline. If there are any proposal submissions that will be directly impacted during this downtime, please let the Office of Sponsored Projects pre-award team know as soon as possible. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the InfoEd project team at oris-group@uri.edu.
