Over the course of five weeks during the fall semester, the URI Counseling Center together with the URI College of Pharmacy will host a new group on campus devoted to therapeutic horticulture.

Join us as we explore the healing power of nature through mindfulness activities, gardening, and the creation of a healing space on campus while experiencing the therapeutic benefits of horticulture.

Hosted by Warren Schwartz, Psy.D., psychologist and master gardener, and Elizabeth Leibovitz, garden coordinator
and College of Pharmacy adjunct instructor, preference will be given to participants who are able to commit to all five sessions.
