The University of Rhode Island Police Department will offer active shooter response training on Thursday, Nov. 9 at 2 p.m. in the Memorial Union, Room 308. The training lasts approximately 1.5 hours and is offered to students, faculty and staff. The Citizen’s Response to An Active Shooter (CRASE) Training provides attendees strategies on how to respond to an active shooter situation using Avoid, Deny, Defend.
