The Town of South Kingston has commenced work on a project to pave Old North Road. This message provides details about road closures and traffic pattern changes.

Old North Road from Flagg Road to Route 138 will be closed to through traffic each weekday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. for paving. The town expects to complete the project in four weeks.

Residents may access their properties during construction but may experience brief delays.

Future changes to traffic patterns are possible while the work continues. Please be alert when driving through this area and pay attention to signage and public safety officers who are directing traffic.

Editor’s note: This message has been updated to reflect changes to the Town of South Kingstown project. An earlier version of the message indicated Old North Road would be closed from Stony Fort Road to Route 138. It will be closed from Flagg Road to Route 138.
