Latin American, Caribbean and Latinx Studies

A minor in Latin American, Caribbean, and Latinx Studies is available for students who wish to have a comprehensive understanding of social issues in Latin America and the Caribbean, as well as issues affecting Latinx and Caribbean-American communities in the U.S. This interdisciplinary minor requires a total of 18 credits across multiple departments and programs in the College of Arts and Sciences, offering students a chance to understand the diverse people, cultures, economies, and politics of Latin America and the Caribbean, as well as the diversity of Latinx and Caribbean-American communities in the U.S.
