Leadership Studies Minor

The leadership studies minor (18 credits) is based on a broad cross-disciplinary philosophy of leadership. Its goal: To prepare students for leadership roles and responsibilities. The minor will provide students with opportunities to develop and enhance a personal philosophy of leadership that includes understanding of self, others, and community, as well as the acceptance of responsibility inherent in community membership. The curriculum focuses on expanding students’ knowledge, skills, and understanding of specific leadership theories, concepts, and models in applied settings.
