Psychology B.A., B.S.

The B.A. program in psychology provides a broad understanding of the diversity of human behavior from biological, cognitive, affective, and cultural perspectives. This program offers both academic coursework and career-related experiential learning. It provides a solid foundation for students interested in pursuing graduate programs in Psychology or other social sciences, as well as those preparing for careers in service professions, law, counseling psychology, human relations and social work.

The B.S. program focuses on coursework and experiential training in scientific methods used in psychological and social science research. The B.S. requires coursework in math, biology, psychological research and quantitative methods to prepare students planning to pursue graduate or professional work in research related areas of psychology and other social science professions, including medical school.
