Textiles, clothing and related arts
(as it was called back then)

My husband John and I used to enjoy our trips to Block Island and Martha’s Vineyard. Once we sold the boat, we still had our tee shirts and caps, affectionately known as “Grady Gear.” I entered and won a contest to name the newly formed Southern New England Grady White Club. But that was back in the day. Now we’re snowbirds, with our Grady masks. And they would be hand-stitched by me, because we’re still in Venice, FL, and my sewing machine is up north in Matunuck!
