KINGSTON, R.I. — November 10, 2000 — The University of Rhode Island’s Latin American Student Association will present a free dancing and drumming show on Thursday, Nov. 16 from 7 to 8 p.m. in Edwards Auditorium. The program is open to the public Making her first appearance at URI, artist Lydia Pérez will perform the Bomba, a new African style of drumming and dancing.
