Catch football coach Tim Stowers’ TV and radio shows Ram games against Brown, UMass to be televised

Catch highlights of the big plays, the post-game interviews and in-depth analysis of the 2001 season of University of Rhode Island football by tuning in to the “Coach Tim Stowers Show” on Cox cable channel 3.

The show airs on Wednesday evenings at 7 and Saturday mornings at 11.

During the show hosted by Steve McDonald, Stowers analyzes highlights and previews upcoming games on the Rams’ schedule. In addition, reporter Andy Gresh provides post-game interviews, while the URI Department of Communications offers a University feature for each show hosted by Dave Lavallee and Todd McLeish.

Air dates for the shows are: Oct. 3, 6, 17, 20, 24, and 27; Nov. 7, 10, 21 and 24.

In addition, you can participate in the “Tim Stowers Radio Call-in Show” each Wednesday from 7 to 8 p.m. on 920 WHJJ AM. The show is broadcast at Dave’s, 2339 Post Road in Warwick. The host is WHJJ Sports Director Steve McDonald. Callers can reach the show at 438-8700.

Ram fans can also catch a live telecast of the URI-Brown football game on Cox 3, Saturday, Sept. 29 at 1 p.m. The URI-Massachusetts game on Saturday, Nov. 17 at noon will be televised on Fox Sports New England, Channel 55 on Cox, as the Atlantic 10 Game of the Week.
