PROVIDENCE, R.I. – October 12, 2006 — While the thought of going to “school” on a Sunday might be the last thing on any child’s mind, going to a “Family Fun Day” at school on a Sunday is another matter entirely.

The University of Rhode Island Alan Shawn Feinstein College of Continuing Education will host a FREE Family Fun Day on Sunday, Oct. 22, from 2 to 5 p.m. Open to the public, the event at the University’s Providence Campus on 80 Washington St. will include a host of fun activities and a show, The Magic of Science, performed at 4 p.m. by Marvelous Marvin Novogrodski.

There will be food and cotton candy and popcorn. Bring family and friends.

This Family Fun event is co-sponsored by the Office of Student Services and the Student Government Board of the Alan Shawn Feinstein College of Continuing Education.
