News Advisory: Changing the future for students in Central Falls

The Rhode Island Foundation to announce its support

Who: University of Rhode Island President Robert L. Carothers, The Rhode Island Foundation Chairman and Acting President George Graboys, Central Falls High Superintendent Frances Gallo and the high school community of students, teachers, leaders, and parents.

What: The Rhode Island Foundation will announce its support for The Central Falls High School: A University of Rhode Island Academy. The partnership advances innovative approaches to challenges faced in urban education.


A TALL performance by middle school students will then showcase the work of the unique new Transition through Arts Literacy Learning (TALL) University project that is designed to accelerate acquisition of English language skills.
