URI group to hold session on work/life issues at Statehouse Feb. 28

KINGSTON, R.I. — February 25, 2008 — The University of Rhode Island’s Work/Life Committee will hold a brief informational session in the Senate Lounge at the Statehouse on Thursday, Feb. 28 at 3 p.m. The purpose of the session is to familiarize legislators and other policy makers with the issue of work/life balance and to discuss initiatives that have occurred in other states. Senator Daniel DaPonte, a 2000 URI graduate, will host the session.
