The University community is invited to attend a celebration of the life of the late Agnes Doody, a beloved and innovative professor who worked at URI for more than 45 years. The ceremony will be held Friday, July 28, at 9:30 a.m. in Swan Hall. The celebration can also be viewed online.

Professor Doody died in Wakefield on April 28. In addition to her distinguished academic career, she was known for wearing the color purple, coiling her hair in a gold crown and driving a pair of Mercedes-Benz cars with “TALK” and “TALK 2” as license plates.
