Dear Students,

With the fall semester well underway, we wanted to share a few important reminders and resources regarding parking on or near campus. Please note that parking at the Kingston train station is not permitted for any purpose other than train or bike-path travel.

A valid parking permit is required to park on campus. Students must park only in the lots designated for their specific parking permit. More information, including how to purchase a permit, is available here: Commuter Permits | Resident/Greek Permits.

Students who wish to park off campus can do so for free at the Wickford Junction station garage and utilize Rhode Island Public Transit Authority buses to get to and from campus. Students may purchase discounted RIPTA passes, available at the Campus Store in the Memorial Union.

Please note that parking is not permitted at the Kingston train station. The Kingston station lot is reserved strictly for Amtrak and bike-path users. Vehicles parked at Kingston station for any purpose other than train or bike-path travel may be towed at the owner’s expense.
