Beginning Wednesday, Nov. 1, the Town of South Kingstown will begin a project to pave Old North Road.

During business hours, traffic on Old North Road will be limited to a single lane from Flagg Road to Route 138. A traffic detail will be stationed at either end. Please be alert when driving through this area and pay attention to public safety officers directing traffic.

Beginning Nov. 7 Old North Rd will be completely shut down from Route 138 to Flagg Road. Detour signs will direct vehicle traffic to alternative routes. 

Work is expected to last until the end of November. Please plan accordingly and consider alternate routes during the duration of the project.
