The University of Rhode Island is pleased to announce the Second Annual International Graduate Student Showcase poster session, Wednesday, May 1, at the Center for Biotechnology and Life Sciences. The showcase aims to highlight the exceptional quality and diverse contributions of international graduate students at URI. 

All international graduate students at URI, from across all disciplines, are invited to submit poster proposals showcasing their original research or culminating experiences. We encourage faculty members to support and motivate their international students to participate in this event.

The 2024 Call for Proposals opens on Jan 29 and closes on March 8, at 11:59 p.m. For more information on the showcase, including details as well as strategies for submitting your proposal, please visit the Office of International Students and Scholars’ resource page on this topic. Please note that proposals submitted after the closing date and time will not be considered.

Awards honoring outstanding posters across categories such as Ph.D. research, M.S./M.A. research, and culminating experiences or major papers for professional degrees will be presented at the conclusion of the event. All abstracts will be published in the conference proceedings.
