Spring Organization Fair provides students opportunity to engage

Event drew more than 200 students interested in learning more about getting involved on campus

KINGSTON, R.I.–Feb. 7, 2024–With the spring semester in full swing, more than 200 students from across campus converged on the Memorial Union Ballroom Tuesday for the Spring Student Organization Fair. Organized by URI’s Office of Student Involvement, the fair showcased close to 35 student groups and organizations.

Lucas DeWitt, coordinator with the Office of Student Involvement, says the event served as a great opportunity for students looking for ways to get involved to learn more about what is available at URI, as well as for campus organizations to highlight the work they are doing and the communities they create.
