401 Tech Bridge will be commencing its summer pre-accelerator program from May 13 to 24 this year (in person, with virtual check-ins) for URI students and the larger Rhode Island community seeking to develop high-impact ventures and projects in the future.

LaunchURI is part of RISE-UP’s i(X)Studio that aims to foster innovation and cross-disciplinary entrepreneurship at the University of Rhode Island. The program seeks to empower early entrepreneurs through the latest curriculum and practices in lean methodology, entrepreneurial best practices and guest speakers alongside industry mentors for real-life exposure to problem-solving and solutions.

Applications for this summer’s LaunchURI close on May 10. Applications for fall 2024 are also open now.

LaunchURI offers:

• Curriculum-based learning for business model development
• Custom and sector-specific mentoring and workshops, including customer discovery tools
• Peer cohort of dedicated founders
• Co-working space at the URI Innovation Spaces and LaunchLabs
