Tickets available starting May 29 for Nov. 1-3 events

The University is excited to announce the dates for Family Weekend 2024. We look forward to coming together with students, families, and supporters the weekend of Nov. 1-3. While the schedule is just starting to come together, we want to be sure you have it on your calendar.

Two of the main events on Family Weekend will be the football game as the Rams take on Monmouth College Saturday, Nov. 2, at 1 p.m. at Meade Stadium and the comedy show featuring Sal Vulcano and Joe Gatto Saturday at 8 p.m. in the Ryan Center. Vulcano and Gatto are best known for creating and starring in truTV’s long-running hit “Impractical Jokers” and TBS’ “The Misery Index.” 

Tickets will be available via the Family Weekend ticket link on Wednesday, May 29, beginning at 10 am. The link to purchase tickets can be found on the URI Family Weekend page.

Tickets will be made available for:

• URI football pre-game tailgate parking and family zone, Saturday, Nov. 2, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
• URI football vs Monmouth, Saturday, Nov. 2, 1 p.m.
• VIP parking for the comedy show, Saturday, Nov. 2, 6:30 p.m.
• Comedy show with Sal Vulcano and Joe Gatto, Saturday, Nov. 2, 8 p.m.

Please note: For families to get tickets with their URI students, please reserve tickets for both family and URI students at the same time.  Events for Family Weekend tend to sell out early so do not miss the on-sale date.

In summer and early fall, we will update the calendar of events for the weekend. We also highly recommend that those coming from a distance make hotel reservations.
