The National Weather Service is forecasting snowfall for parts of Rhode Island, including Kingston, this evening.

The University will institute a partial parking ban beginning Friday, Dec. 26, at 10 p.m., and ending Saturday, Dec. 27, at 4 p.m., to allow for snow clearing and surface treatment.

During a partial parking ban, parking is prohibited on any roadway or roadside parking area throughout campus. Students, staff, and visitors with approved parking privileges may park in designated parking lots during a partial parking ban.

Please be aware of these restrictions and park only in approved locations. Vehicles parked in areas where parking is prohibited during a partial parking ban will be ticketed and/or towed at the owner’s expense.
