The University of Rhode Island Accessibility Task Force is seeking two student representatives, one undergraduate and one graduate. Nominations may be submitted by students themselves (self-nomination) or by faculty and staff on behalf of a student.
The Accessibility Task Force supports existing efforts to advance a more accessible, inclusive, and equitable environment for all members of the URI community. Student representatives play a vital role by sharing lived experiences, perspectives, and ideas that help inform University practices, policies, and priorities related to accessibility. The Accessibility Task Force is an advisory committee and is not an oversight body. It presents its recommendations to the University Diversity Council.
