Later this week, the University will welcome thousands of new and returning students and their families for fall move-in and the start of the fall semester.

To accommodate the increase in traffic and to make move-in as smooth as possible for our students and families, the following parking lots will be closed to faculty, staff, and students/commuters beginning Wednesday, Sept. 2, at 5 p.m., through Monday, Sept. 7, at 6 p.m.

• Lots west of Butterfield Road, including spaces near Adams Hall, Eddy Hall, and throughout Complex Road
• Lots west of Merrow and Tucker Halls
• Lot 18 (behind Hillside Hall)
• Lot 17 (near Peck Hall, across from the Potter building) – Short-term exceptions may be made for students visiting Health Services

Faculty and staff must park in the lots east of Upper College Road, including Lot 1 (Briar Lane) and Lots 6 and 7 (Fine Arts North and South). Resident students must park in the lot designated by their permits. Commuters affected by these closures should park in Plains Road Lot 25.
