Share your feedback on inclusion at URI

Oct. 15, 2026

The University of Rhode Island is continuing its annual efforts to assess progress toward fostering an inclusive, people-centered culture as outlined in the Focus URI strategic vision. To help with that assessment, please take a few minutes to complete the 2026 Snap Climate Survey.

The survey is brief: just seven questions not including the option to provide demographic information. Participation in the survey is entirely voluntary and anonymous. You can answer as many or as few questions as you like. I hope you will answer them all. To incentivize participation from as many members of the URI community as possible, those who respond by November 6 may elect to enter a drawing for exclusive URI experiences and giveaways to demonstrate Rhody pride.

By taking the survey and sharing more about your URI experience, you will help leaders across the University take action-oriented steps to be more intentionally inclusive and increase the sense of belonging at URI. Some actions taken following the 2025 survey include leaders discussing aggregate survey results at team retreats, identifying ways to offer more inclusive activities at campus events, and incorporating anonymous survey feedback into professional development workshops. Your input matters. Learn more about how the University has addressed prior survey results and add your voice!

The 2026 Snap Climate Survey is now live and will remain open through Friday, November 6. If you need accommodations to fully participate in this survey, please contact the Office of Community, Equity, and Diversity at 401-874-7077 or ced@uri.edu.

Thank you in advance for completing the survey and contributing to a community where all Rams can thrive. Creating an inclusive culture is a collective effort. #URIncluded
