Dear Faculty and Staff,

The University will celebrate the opening of the Fine Arts Center with a ribbon-cutting event on Monday, Sept. 14. The event will bring a large number of guests to campus as we mark this exciting milestone for URI. 

As a result, parking in the Fine Arts Center lot (Lot 6) is expected to be limited on Monday. 

Faculty and staff who typically park in Lot 6 are encouraged to use other faculty/staff parking areas across campus, including the lots at Briar Lane (Lot 1) and Tucker House (Lot 3).

The Rhody Shuttle Service is also available if you need to park some distance from your building.
